Health Services

Please note: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our services are available by appointment only. Please call 244-4769 during our normal business hours: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, to schedule an appointment.
 
Student Health Services provides medical care and outreach programming to the campus community.  The office is located in Harrington Center, Room 129, and is staffed by a full-time Registered Nurse and Medical Assistant. Our phone number is 513-244-4769. Physicians are available during the Fall and Spring semesters by appointment. We do not bill insurance for services. 
 
Services offered:
Physician Appointment - $10.00
Physical exams - $20.00                                                         
Immunizations- at cost (call for current pricing)
   Hepatitis B
   Tetanus-Diptheria-Pertussis (TDaP)
   Flu shots are available September through April for $20.00.
TB skin tests (1-step and 2-step)- $10 per step
Lab work- billed to insurance through Tri-Health Labs
Allergy shots- $10.00/semester
 
We do not bill insurance for services. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. Fees can also be added to your student account. 
 
Nurse Hours: By appointment between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday.
There is no charge to visit the nurse.

Note: The physicians are not available during the summer months.

Prescription Drugs

Prescription drug abuse causes the largest percentage of deaths from drug overdosing (Over 22,000 a year). Part of our mission is to spread awareness about drug abuse of prescription drugs. Temporary Illness

If a serious, but temporary, medical condition, or pregnancy or pregnancy related condition, results in a student anticipating missing more than one week of class (consecutive class sessions), the student may request temporary modifications of the requirements listed within the class syllabi during the period of this illness, injury, pregnancy or related condition.
