Mount Violence Prevention (MVP) Program

MVP: Mount Violence Prevention Program

Mount St. Joseph University has been awarded a three-year grant from the Office on Violence Against Women, U.S. Department of Justice. This Campus Program grant gives our community the opportunity to further develop and expand effective comprehensive prevention & response to sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking.

The MVP Program efforts include prevention, training, and interventions that are developed through the Campus Community Response Team (CCRT). This team is a collaborative leadership team of faculty, staff, students, and community partners that are diverse in perspective and discipline, committed to advocating for the end of gender-based violence and the creation of a safe, proactive campus community. Outreach, prevention and training program initiatives will be implemented in Spring 2021.
