Mount Email

MSJ email is the University’s official means of communication, as well as your official means of communication with the University. Check your MSJ email often to keep up with important announcements and information. You can also access a link for MSJ email directly from the "Quick Links" section of all myMount pages (in left sidebar) or by going to mail.msj.edu.

Computer Access

Computers are available for general use to students on campus. All computers are equipped with Microsoft Office and printing capabilities. Computers are available at the following locations:

  • For Computer Access:

    - CLC 1 and CLC2 are open 24/7 besides class times

    - ADM 18A(open lab) is open 24/7

Printing

On Campus Printing

Students have the opportunity to print out documents on campus once the Pharos Student Printing solution is installed on their Windows-based or Mac-based computer. Students may also use Mobile Print to print from smart devices. See the instructions below.

We provide printers around campus for you to connect to print. The printers that we have available print both color and black & white for your most basic printing needs. Some of the main printers can be found at the following locations:
  • Admin Gallery (Located on the first floor of the classroom building)
  • Harrington Center (Located in the Student Organization Center)
  • Library (Located by the desk in the main entrance)
  • Open Lab (Located on the ground floor of the Seton Building) 
  • Student Residence Hall (Floors 2-5 West lobbies between Center and the West dormitory wings)

Blackboard Learn

Blackboard Learn (often shortened to just Blackboard) is the Mount’s course management system. You will need to access this site to participate in your Mount classes. You can also access the link for Blackboard directly from the Quick Links section of myMount pages (in left sidebar) or by visiting blackboard.msj.edu. Reference guides and video tutorials for Blackboard are available on the Blackboard Resources page.

myMount

myMount is the Mount’s portal system, used by all students, faculty and staff. It lets you view and interact with your academic and personal information records. myMount also gives you access to a wealth of information from various Mount departments, programs, offices and student organizations. Students are encouraged to view the Quick Sheet for Students to identify commonly requested functions and resources on myMount.
