Obtaining Your MSJ ID

Your campus identification card is your key to many services on campus. All students are required to have an ID and carry it with them at all times while on campus. Your campus ID includes your ID number, meal service plan (if applicable) and library account number. It also can be set up as a petty cash account for photo copying and grant you access for recreation facilities and University home athletic events.

ON-CAMPUS STUDENTS: Students attending classes on campus will receive their MSJ ID during their respective programs’ orientations.

  • On-campus students can get their ID prior to or after orientation if they choose. ID's can be received from Campus Police in the Seton Center 24/7. For the most timely response, it is recommended that students visit Campus Police Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm.
  • Those that do not feel comfortable coming to campus to get their ID can request their ID through the Get Your ID Card section of the online orientation. For questions about acquiring your campus ID, contact Information Services and Support (ISS) at iss.helpdesk@msj.edu.

OFF-SITE STUDENTS: Off-site students will receive their ID in coordination with their faculty.

ONLINE STUDENTS: Students in online programs can obtain their campus IDs by using the online request form.
