5th Grade Teacher – 2026–2027 School Year

St. Francis Seraph School is seeking a dedicated and student-centered 5th grade teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. We are a faith-based school community committed to strong academics, meaningful relationships, and supporting the growth of every student.

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching at the intermediate grade level and committed to meeting the needs of all learners. This teacher will create a structured, engaging classroom environment that supports academic growth, character development, and a love of learning.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Plan and deliver engaging instruction aligned to curriculum standards

  • Differentiate instruction to support a range of learning needs, including students requiring intervention

  • Build a positive and respectful classroom culture

  • Develop strong relationships with students and families

  • Collaborate with colleagues to support student success

  • Support the school’s mission and values in daily interactions

Qualifications:

  • Valid teaching license (or working toward licensure)

  • Experience in elementary or intermediate grades preferred

  • Strong classroom management and instructional skills

  • Ability to support diverse learners

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Preferred:

  • Experience working with students from a variety of backgrounds

  • Familiarity with intervention strategies
