Both Ohio and Kentucky are offering immediate unemployment assistance for anyone who has become unemployed as a result of COVID-19. Indiana currently does not have any mandatory business closings they have made changes to their current processes.

Sheakley Center (Lighthouse Youth Services) is located at 2522 Highland Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45219 and is open from 9 am - 2 pm every weekday 513-569-9500. This is a drop in center for teens and young adults that provides food, personal hygiene products, and internet/mail service. You can visit www.lys.org for more information. 

A local homeowner is looking to rent out a house to Mount students. The place is a 3 bedroom, 1 and 1/2 bathroom home off of Mt. Alverno Rd. He's asking for $1,650 per month.

Utility Assistance

Greater Cincinnati Foundation can help you avoid water shutoffs in your home and will forgive past-due amounts related to water and City of Cincinnati storm water services. You can apply for this support at Forgive.myGCWW.org.

Food Assistance

The Lion's Cupboard is an on campus food pantry located in SC 21 that was created in collaboration with Be Concerned Food Pantry. The Lion's Cupboard is open during SRC office hours. For more information contact MSJStudentResourceCenter@msj.edu .  

Be Concerned visits MSJ monthly for supplemental food assistance through food deliveries at no cost to the students. When there is an upcoming drive students will receive an email from student.affairs@msj.edu with the details and an order form to fill out.
