On Tuesday, February 11, Chris Miller, manager of program initiatives at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, will show portions of the films, “The Abolitionists,” and “Slavery by Another Name” and moderate a discussion based on the issues they raise. The title of his presentation is “Slavery: Its History and Current Manifestations.”
We hope you can join us that night and take part in the discussion!
The presentation is part of a grant the College won from the National Endowment for the Humanities
called “Created Equal.” The purpose of the grant is to introduce a series of documentaries illustrating the history of civil rights in America.
