Accuplacer is a computer-based diagnostic and placement test which measures reading, writing, and math skills. Accuplacer can help students identify areas of strength and weakness and guide them in making appropriate course choices.

We recommend you begin with the Elementary Algebra section. If you find those questions difficult, you may want to review the Arithmetic questions. If you find the Elementary Algebra questions relatively simple, you should progress into the College Level Math section.

All adults applicants for whom one of the following is true must complete the Accuplacer Reading, Math, and Writeplacer tests before an admission decision is made:
- No previous college work
- Previous college work from a non-regionally accredited institution
- A cumulative college GPA of 1.99 or below from a regionally accredited institution
