The Mount takes pride in its rich history of continuous improvement and accountability for student learning. During its visit in 2006 and 2015, the Higher Learning Commission praised the Mount’s leadership in the area of assessment.

Assessment of student learning takes place at three levels: the baccalaureate level (assessment of our Core Curriculum), program level, and course level. The Mount’s assessment plan is administered by a standing committee of ECFA and overseen by the Assessment Coordinator.
