To help maintain the integrity of the Mount brand, the Mount logo is to be the primary and prominent logo on all externally focused materials — in print, online, and with apparel and merchandise. The use of third-party logos with the Mount logo on externally focused materials in print, online and with apparel and merchandise must be pre-approved by the Creative Services team. In these cases, the Mount logo usage standards still apply and the Mount logo must be given equal or prominent placement.
The links below contains information on logo usage regarding:
- size restrictions
- safe area of the logo
- use of contact information with the logo
- samples of incorrect use of the logo
Other logos that represent events or programs may be incorporated as a graphic element into the design/layout of materials, if the Mount logo or word mark is also used. Use of other logos is at the discretion of Creative Services. Department names may be used under the Mount logo on apparel, as long as directions from the brand standards is followed. Versions of the University logo have been created with each school name and schools are encouraged to use them.
For internally focused print and online materials, a graphic other than the Mount logo may be used, but the University’s name must be a part of the design/layout. The use of graphics with the University name must be pre-approved by Creative Services.
By requesting, accepting and using provided official logo files on any event related materials, you agree that your event is sanctioned by the University and that all necessary Risk/Compliance approvals have been secured.
